We are your farmers, Jason and Kimberly Warren. We established our farm in 2020, in a historic farmhouse built in 1905. Both of us had farming in our past. Jason's has had extensive experience gardening and has worked in commercial produce. Kimberly had grown up on a horse farm, while raising animals was different than growing produce, it certainly taught her that hard work pays off. We're raising farm girls who help around the farm and with the animals. We love bringing farm fresh produce and farmhouse canned goods to Farmers' Markets in the Louisville, KY area. Farming is not just our job, it's our passion.

What is a CSA and How does it Benefit You?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture and it is a term used to describe the kind of transaction that happens when a buyer purchases farming goods directly from a farm itself. The whole point of a CSA is to connect the consumer (you) more closely with the farm where your food is grown. When you purchase a CSA share you are reserving your produce for the upcoming season.

Do you know where your food comes from?

When purchasing food this way you know exactly where your food is coming from and you know how it is being grown. Purchasing directly from your local farmer results in your food changing far fewer hands and guarantees freshness. As produce is normally harvested within 24 hours of your CSA box delivery, you are shortening your supply chain tremendously. This reduces the environmental impact on the globe and our communities.

Each week during the growing season, a CSA member will receive a box of 6-8 seasonal vegetables, along with a community group to share the experience and ideas.

You'll also be supplied with E-Books on the vegetables that educate on how to use, store, and preserve any unused items. We are here to give you the tools to make sure you are getting the most out of your CSA Membership.

Why is it Called a Farm Share?

CSA Farm Share is exactly that, you are purchasing, a share of the farm harvest. Our farm is a community. We share in our community the bounty and how we use each item in your box, and we share with others how you are getting the most from your veggies. Follow along in the growing season, watch the success, and sometimes the struggles. Keep in mind that on a farm we can't control some things and when they go wrong we are all invested but, we will always find an alternative way to be sure we can provide fresh produce for you.
